2, pay attention to water-based ink control targets. Water-based ink control targets mainly fineness, viscosity, pH and drying speed, their effect on the application of ink play a decisive role;



3, due to pure water of the water-based ink system, and therefore should be careful not to use water-based inks and alcohol inks and solvent-based inks used in combination or added to an organic solvent in the ink to avoid print quality problems;



4, the use of water-based ink, it should be stir, after measuring the viscosity of the ink into the appropriate slot, if the viscosity is inappropriate, thinners or thickeners can be used to adjust, and pay attention to control the ink pH value, generally lies in the 8.5 ~ 9.5. The printing process, because the volatilization of water, ink viscosity rises, pH value decreased, so we should always observe the ink usage, found that when the ink viscosity increase or beyond the control of pH, should promptly adopt diluent and pH stabilizer adjusted to ensure stable viscosity and pH values;



5, under normal circumstances, ink very suitable for high-speed printing, drying too fast or if the effect of the situation encountered poorly printed, you can add a certain proportion of slow drying agent at low speed printing;



6, the remaining ink after printing is complete should recover the corresponding original barrel or ink tank reclosable lid to prepare for the next reuse. Prevent the ink surface conjunctiva, thickened and even become dry. Water-based ink should be stored in a cool indoor ventilation, temperature control in 5 ~ 45 ℃;



7, after remaining on the printing ink printing device when it is not completely dry, rinse with water, can not be washed with water to wash the ink available cleaning agents;



8, printability by ink printing conditions, affecting the surface properties of the substrate, ambient temperature and humidity, the length of storage time and other objective conditions, so when, you need to use some additives to make fine adjustments to the ink to get the best printing effect. Water-based inks commonly used additives have pigment, pH value stabilizers, slow drying agents, defoamers, diluting agents, printing should be familiar with the characteristics and use of aid;



1) to deepen the color pigment in an amount generally should be controlled in 0 to 30%, more than 30% will cause the ink in the binder content is too low, resulting in decreased adhesion and abrasion resistance;

2) pH value stabilizers for adjusting and controlling the pH of the aqueous ink, to stabilize at 8.0 to 9.5, to ensure water-based ink printing state. Meanwhile, it can adjust the viscosity of water-based ink, and ink dilution;

3) Slow drying agent used to reduce the degree of drying of ink, slow drying agent can inhibit and slow down the water-based ink drying speed to prevent drying of the ink, reducing blocking version and paste version of such printing fault occurs on the printing plate. The amount of slow drying agent should be controlled in the 0 to 10% of the total amount of ink, if adding too much volume, ink drying is not complete, it will offset printed or odor;

4) diluting agent is mainly used to reduce the color depth, the amount is not limited. But adding a lot of thinners may lead to a slight increase in viscosity of ink, this time can be adjusted while adding a small amount of diluent;

5) The diluted profit is mainly used to reduce the viscosity of the ink, the amount should be controlled within 3%, so as not to reduce the ink color depth, and maintain the pH constant ink. Diluent should be added slowly with stirring to prevent the viscosity is too low. If adding more diluent or the use of high hardness water dilution will produce bubbles, then you should join the anti-foaming agent;

Mainly due to the foam problem 6) the use of water-based ink is its water as a diluent, in the emulsion polymerization must use a certain amount of emulsifier, the emulsion system surface tension declined significantly.
